Every Friday, we share a roundup of what the PT BATI Mulia Sejahtera team worked on from Monday to Thursday. The week of 12–15 October 2026 centered on one product: JSP Web, BATI's web-based job shop production scheduling service. We prepared the groundwork to move it onto more resilient cloud infrastructure, and designed a new way to reach more factories.
Monday–Tuesday: Finalizing a Non-Disclosure Agreement with a Cloud Service Provider
Before exchanging technical data with any outside party, we always make sure a clear information-protection framework is in place. On Monday, we reviewed a bilingual draft non-disclosure agreement (NDA) from a cloud service provider. The draft went through several rounds of revisions and internal review, including input from BATI's account team.
On Tuesday, the final version was agreed and signed. With this NDA in place, BATI can securely share architecture details and infrastructure data as input for exploring a cloud migration.
Wednesday: Assessing JSP Web's Readiness for Cloud Migration
The next step was to map the current system in detail. We prepared a server migration assessment for JSP Web covering the server inventory, a list of applications and databases with their criticality, and an overview of the current architecture alongside the target architecture for a proof-of-concept stage.
JSP Web runs as a container-based application made up of a web front end, a scheduling API service and a MySQL database. This assessment is the basis for sizing the right cloud servers and database: neither oversized nor undersized.
• CPU, memory and storage utilization data were collected directly from the server as a starting point for capacity planning.
• We openly noted that the current server is shared with several other services, so cloud capacity planning uses only the JSP Web workload.
• A follow-up we recorded: enabling regular metrics monitoring so that average and peak load data are available, not just a single snapshot.
Wednesday: Designing the JSP Web Partner Program
On the marketing side, we drafted a marketing strategy and partner program for JSP Web. Because JSP is B2B software built specifically for manufacturing, the best partners are those already trusted by workshop owners and PPIC teams, such as productivity consultants, ERP implementers, and machine and tooling suppliers.
The design makes the Free Schedule Audit the entry point: partners simply open the door and help gather scheduling data, while the BATI team handles the audit, demo and onboarding.
• Three partner tracks: Referral/Affiliate, Reseller and Strategic Partner, with commitments and rewards that increase step by step.
• Single-tier and based on real sales: rewards are paid only after the client pays, with no partner registration fee.
• A disciplined sequence: validate results at a pilot factory and prepare a before-and-after case study first, then recruit new resellers.
Closing
Reliable infrastructure and the right go-to-market channels are two sides of the same goal: making better production scheduling accessible to more manufacturers across Indonesia. Look out for our next roundup next Friday.
