Every Friday, we share a roundup of what the PT BATI Mulia Sejahtera team worked on from Monday to Thursday. The week of 28 September – 1 October 2026 centred on three priorities: strengthening the technology behind our products, raising the bar on document security, and setting the company's strategic direction for the next decade.
Monday: Migrating the Job Shop Planner Database to Tibero 7
We kicked off the week with a proof of concept for migrating the Job Shop Planner (JSP) database from Microsoft SQL Server to Tibero 7, an enterprise-grade relational database and a proven alternative to Oracle. Working remotely with Tibero's technical team, we connected the T-Up migration tool to the source database and mapped JSP's core tables, including jobs, machines, production calendars and actual work records.
This matters because many manufacturers want to cut database licensing costs without giving up reliability. The results will shape the measured migration path we offer clients who are looking to switch platforms.
• Exported schema and data from SQL Server, including tests of object-naming conventions (upper/lower case).
• Prepared Tibero-compatible DDL scripts for the JSP tables.
• Tested an automated SQL Server-to-Tibero table migration tool.
Monday–Wednesday: Document Protection for Digital Forensics
On the digital forensics front, we continued drafting the Terms of Reference (TOR) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for a digital forensics laboratory initiative. Alongside this, we developed XPDF, a PDF protection system whose documents can only be opened through a dedicated reader application.
Documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and the decryption keys live on a licence server rather than on the reader's device. Before a document opens, the server checks the user's access rights, expiry date, clearance level and device, then records every access in an audit log. On Wednesday we prepared the licence server to run on our own cloud infrastructure. This approach suits organisations that need to share sensitive documents while preserving the chain of custody.
Tuesday–Wednesday: Completing Our 2026–2037 Balanced Scorecard
On the management side, we completed PT BATI Mulia Sejahtera's Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for October 2026 through December 2037. The BSC translates our vision into measurable objectives and KPIs across four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth.
The roadmap positions our core offerings, namely Tibero database solutions, JSP Web as SaaS, digital forensics, IoT and Veritate PMIS, as growth drivers, backed by a colour-coded (green/yellow/red) monitoring dashboard for regular reviews.
Thursday: Advancing the Tibero Migration and Tidying Up Our Communication Identity
On Thursday we pushed the Job Shop Planner migration to Tibero forward, tackling its most demanding part: the business logic inside the database. Tables and data can generally be moved automatically by migration tooling, but JSP's stored procedures, views and triggers, around 200 objects in total, need to be rewritten from T-SQL (SQL Server) into Tibero-compatible PL/SQL.
To make this manageable, we exported every one of those objects into its own script under version control, and wrote a T-SQL to Tibero PL/SQL Conversion Guide as a shared reference with Tibero's technical team. We also set up the latest version of the T-Up migration tool and backed up our Tibero cluster test environment.
Separately, we standardised the corporate @batimulia.com email signatures for team members in a bilingual Indonesian–English format, so every message to clients and partners looks consistent and professional.
• Exported JSP stored procedures, views, functions and triggers into per-object scripts tracked under version control.
• Documented T-SQL to PL/SQL conversion patterns, such as returning query results through REF CURSORs and restructuring variable declarations.
• Set up the latest T-Up migration tool and backed up the Tibero cluster test environment.
Closing
This week reflects how we work: building solutions that are technically sound, keep client data secure, and stay aligned with the company's long-term plan. Look out for our next roundup next Friday.
